The experience
What you’ll do during the internship.
You’ll join one industry-focused team, known at Virtus as a vertical, and work directly with that team on projects relevant to its clients and day-to-day work.
Contribute to client work
Projects may include creating client materials and attending carrier and client meetings. You’ll see how the team helps businesses understand and manage risk.
Learn alongside the team
Build your understanding of insurance, ask questions, and shadow top performers. Mentors and teammates will help you connect what you’re learning with the work in front of you.
Share what you’ve learned
The program includes an opportunity to deliver a final presentation to Virtus’s C-suite executives, bringing together your experience and the work you’ve contributed.

Who can apply.
Students from all majors are encouraged to apply, including those studying Business, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.
Graduation dates and availability
Students graduating between December 2027 and June 2029 who can join us in the office five days a week, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., during the eight-week program.
