Building Strong Foundations: Mastering Construction Contracts to Avoid Costly Pitfalls
Contracts are the foundation of every construction project—no matter the size or number of teams included. These contracts detail the responsibilities, expectations and protections for the property and for all parties involved, safeguarding your investment---or so it seems. Far too often, the fine print is skimmed, key clauses are ignored, reviews are rushed and expert resources, such as an insurance broker, are left untapped, and it’s only when the unexpected occurs that these gaps are exposed.
In a field where small oversights can lead to costly claims, project delays and significant losses, ensure your contract is well-vetted and ironclad before your project breaks ground. In our upcoming webinar, our national construction insurance authorities and experienced claims consultants will uncover common gaps and oversights and share insights about how to better protect your projects, mitigate risk and ensure smoother contract execution for long-term success.
